I am sure that many girls out there want to look at their best on this Valentine’s Day And I believe everyone deserves healthy skin; be it a boy or a girl. But a study has shown that about 70% of people face skin related problems like dryness, acne, itchy skin etc. I too have the problem of acne but now my skin is healing and getting healthy day by day. The study suggests that for skin related problems one should consult a dermatologist but only 5 out of 100 people actually seek advice from one. And what about rest 95%??? Google comes to their rescue. 🙂
Today, we have brought together few tips to get healthy skin and Yes, they actually do wonders!
1) Drink Plenty Of Water.
Remember in school days we learned that our body is made up of 70% of water. Drinking Water Helps Maintain the Balance of Body Fluids and keeps skin hydrated. But don’t expect over-hydration to erase wrinkles or fine lines. Understand the clues body is giving us and act accordingly.
2) Cleanse Your Face Regularly With Mild Cleanser.
A journey to healthy skin starts with proper face cleansing. Facial cleansers remove makeup, pollutants, bacteria and unwanted debris off of our face. It prepares your skin to absorb products you may put on after.
3) Moisturize With A Face Oil.
Don’t be surprised! Many botanical oils are potent anti-oxidant and hence give anti-ageing benefits. Oil products contain essential fatty acids your skin needs to stay properly hydrated, but your body can’t produce them on its own. Oils also act as the skin’s lipid barrier, protecting against extreme temperatures, dry climates, and over-cleansing.
4) Maintain Night Care Regimen.
Unlike daytime, there is no addition of make-up, sunscreen, grime and pollution to counteract active products and block pores. Skin repairs itself at night so it makes sense to use active products and a couple of good techniques to help this process.
5) Face Massage Is Must.
Face massage relaxes the skin and regulates the blood circulation giving a nice glow to the skin. It is very much needed for acne prone skin as it unclogs the blocked pores and removes dirt and blackheads from the skin.
6) Don’t Underestimate The Power Of Exfoliation.
Pollutants and impurities cause dryness, blemishes, blackheads resulting uneven, rough skin tone. Exfoliation deeply cleanses skin and clears the patchiness of the skin making it even throughout.
7) Make Friendship With Banana And Raw Almonds. They Are Your Real Saviors.
We can call Banana “Chota pack bada Dhamaka”, due to its health benefits. This fruit contains potassium and vitamins A, B & C which are beneficial for skin. A homemade banana pack, once or twice a week, can help the skin to combat free radical impairment, boost the skin’s sun-rays resistance, prevent and diminish the appearance of wrinkles. Similarly chewing few raw almonds a day is superb for the skin as they contain a good amount of vitamin E. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, which helps in preventing cell damage and also helps in preventing the damage caused by the sun’s rays.
Sleep makes you feel better. It also boosts your mood or banishes under-eye circles. Sleep allows the skin to restore its natural balance and increases the effectiveness of certain skin care ingredients, potentially providing more benefit to your skin.
