Detach To Attach – Living In Moment

A very happy new year to everyone! 2016 has come and we all want to make it more awesome, peaceful and worth remembering..Right?

Well nowadays tension, stress, conflicts, anger and many more negative things have accommodated place in life and chaos-free life has become a distant dream….so sad yet so true.

Life is full of moments but “we” get involved in “one particular moment” to such extent that we miss “other moments” of life. We make it complex by our reaction to situations or things and think that “simple life is just a dream…it doesn’t exist”…but hold on….something is very wrong here.. Simple life is possible!

Life is at its best when we live it in a simple way…ohh you don’t know how? Not an issue…we are happy to aid you in your journey. Remember, we can only give you suggestions; what to do, what not to do that only you can decide…so choose wisely.

The simplest formula for awesomely wonderful life is “Detach to Attach”. So let’s see what it is:

1) Detach from “excitement/tension of work”, once you step out of office.1-1

This recently happened to me. I was working in office in very challenging yet exciting project and next day I was having one exam which was my personal goal. As I was very much involved in office work, when I came home I was still thinking of work and solutions to issues we were facing.

Due to this I couldn’t concentrate much on the study, which results in average marks in exam.

Well it’s just a single instance, there are many such experiences we face. When we step out of our work place, we still keep yourself attach to our work; which results in loss of other moments of life.

So, it’s important to detach from all work related stuff once we are out of office.

2) Keep your “family problems/quarrels” at a bay once you step in workplace.

Similar to above point, one should keep oneself detached from “family tensions” at office as it will result in better concentration at work and better productivity.

Else it will mess up your office environment as well and increase negativity in your life…

3) Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

I personally believe that “work from home” is not actually a good idea and one should opt in only when it’s absolutely necessary. If you have some personal plans so you decide to opt in for “work from home” option….then think twice! It’s better to take a leave and do your personal commitment, because you can’t fully concentrate on a 2 things at a time which will result in more stress.

4) Detach yourself from toxic people.

Yes, that’s most important thing. Understand that the more you will involve in negative talking or gossiping the less time you will get to see good things in life.

5) Multi-tasking is misconception.

Read this point and make it clear to yourself … we cannot fully concentrate on 2 things at a single moment, like you cannot “drink and drive”. And if you do then you know what happens…”Accidents”. So make sure before you take up a thing, detach yourself from other things.

“To enjoy every moment of life, you have to be present in every moment” and by saying “present”, I mean “mentally, physically and emotionally present”. And this can only happen if you are detached from other moment of life.
